The only Captain on the high seas who "won" his pirate ship at a game of cards. He's smart, he's witty, but has bad eyesight and can't hear very well.

He was the only one who raised his hand when Captain Grey asked for new recruits for his new ship The Black Pea. He has no experience at sea, and he is not doing much on deck, but he is brave and a little silly at times.

She's a black beauty won by the Captain in a game of cards from a wealthy merchant. The bet was: if the merchant wins he will get the pirate treasure map, if Captain wins then he will get the ship. Captain won, but there is more to the story...
